As many as eight Turkish soldiers fighting against Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) extremists have been killed in three separate regions, Turkish military said.
Four of the soldiers were killed as a booby trap was detonated during the passage of the soldiers in Çukurca town of Hakkari.
Two soldiers who were wounded during clashes on Thursday also killed despite efforts of the medicals.
Two other Turkish soldiers were killed during the attack that was conducted by PKK extremists in Genç town of Bingöl.
Turkish forces have efficiently fighting against PKK extremists since July of last year, when the group resumed extremist activities.
At least 7,600 PKK extremists have been killed by Turkish forces so far.
