Isak Haleva has been re-elected the chief rabbi of Jewish people in Turkey.
More than 4.6 thousand Jewish people cast their votes at seven synagogues in Istanbul and 6 synagogues in different provinces to elect their new chief rabbi.
Haleva who has been the chief rabbi since 2003, won 4,268 votes while the other candidate, Ilhan Eli Levi, got 343 votes.
