A group who protested the incidents occurred in Turkey's southeastern town of Lice in Diyarbakir province, held a demonstration in Turkey's southeastern province of Hakkari on Monday night.
A group of people who wore masks built barricades in the city's ring road and lit a fire during the protest late at night, sources said.
Police teams which arrived to the spot interfered by using tear gas and water cannons as the group attacked with petrol bombs, stones and fireworks.
Protestors who fled to the alleys regrouped in the Pehlivan neighbourhood and set a three storey building on fire. The fire spread to the buildings nearby in a short time.
Fire brigades and police vehicles with water cannons tried to quench the fire, and later on the fire was brought under control.
In the Lice district of Diyarbakir, a protest against the construction of a security building last week a demonstrator died when events turned violent.
