The International Social Health Medical Association (VOSSM) has given medicines to Syrian people who were wounded in the clashes and crossed into Turkey.
The association started to operate in Reyhanli town of the southern province of Hatay last December.
"We aim to help Syrian people and heal their wounds," the head of VOSSM's branch in Reyhanli told AA correspondent in an exclusive interview on Wednesday.
Mustafa Demir said the association was sending medicines and medical equipment to people who were wounded in Syria, and association members were waiting at the Turkey-Syria border to help those who could not cross into Turkey.
"We are also trying to dispatch medicines to Syria," Demir also said.
Around 23,161 Syrians are currently staying in Turkey.Güncelleme Tarihi: 10 Mayıs 2012, 12:02
