A fire broke out in a police guesthouse in the western province of Aydin, killing three on Wednesday, governor said.

Aydin's Governor Huseyin Avni Cos said cook Fecri Celik, police officer Aytekin Yapar and national intelligence officer Halil Ibrahim Seker died in the fire.

"Thirteen people were injured in the fire," Cos told reporters.

Fire broke out in the shooting gallery of the police guesthouse and it spread the entire building.
