Slovakian students in tourism and hotel management departments will be able to undergo training in Turkey while Turkish students will have the same chance in Slovakia, said Turkey's minister of national education Nabi Avci Tuesday.
Turkish minister Avci met Tuesday with Slovakian Minister of Education, Science, Research, and Sport Dusan Caplovic and said visa regime between Turkey and Slovakia was liberalised, with the approval of Turkish President Abdullah Gul, which he said would lead to warmer relations between two nations.
Stating that most students previously had some problems during visa procedures, Avci said with the recent visa regulation students as well as teachers, academicians, scientists, artists, and all citizens could travel to Slovakia more easily, which will automatically strengthen the relations in education, culture, and science.
Slovakian minister Caplovic, on the other hand, said the new term would be a good one in terms of improving relations in education and exchanging students at the same time.
With visa exemption for Turkish and Slovakian citizens, unity in education could be reached faster, Caplovic said.
