A military training jet crashed in the middle of a street in Istanbul, injuring all three personnel on board, Anadolu news agency said.
The T-182T Cessna jet took off from the base in Samandira neighborhood of Turkey's mega-city at around 10.30 a.m. Shortly after taking off, it hit electricity wires and crashed.
Three personnel on board the jet were rushed to a military hospital. The military said that they were not in life-threatening condition.
A number of fire-fighters were sent to the scene of the crash and the police cordoned off the area.
