The Turkish military has stated that it conducted an air operation against Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) extremists in Beytüşşebap in the southeastern Turkish province of Şırnak.
The operation was conducted on July 5 between 08:10-08:23, according to the military.
Several extremist targets, including shelters, were destroyed during the airstrike.
Meanwhile, a clash occurred between security forces and PKK extremists in the same region whch left three extremists killed.
Security measures were ramped up and counterextremism operations conducted to prevent extrem attacks across the country and in Northern Iraq as extremists continue to target Turkish cities.
At least 7,600 extremists have been killed by Turkish forces since July of last year, when the PKK resumed extremist activities.
