Eleven people have been killed after a commuter bus crashed in the Turkish capital Ankara, the city’s governor has said.
Mehmet Kiliclar said up to eight people were also injured when the vehicle ran into a bus stop in the Dikimevi neighborhood of Ankara’s Cankaya district on Thursday afternoon.
The reason behind the crash remains unknown but claims on some social media focus on an apparent failure in the vehicle’s braking system.
