ISPARK, a participation of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality of Turkey, which has accomplished parking systems in Pakistan, Albania, Egypt, Ghana and Senegal, has become a model for Morocco as well.
Director General of ISPARK Mehmet Cevik and Director General of Compagnie Generale Des Parkings Youssef Fassi Fihri have signed a protocol in order to meet parking needs in Rabat and Marrakech cities of Morocco and to accomplish modern and applicable systems after the communication held during Rabat Expo in the country.
According to the agreement, Morocco will be provided consultancy service about many projects such as parking systems, parking construction and management, smart parking systems and automation applications.
The parking systems, which will firstly be applied in Rabat and Marrakech, will later spread to other cities in Morocco.
Cevik stressed they wanted to contribute to Turkey's economic development by exporting the experience and new systems of ISPARK to foreign markets, and added, "We must sustain our investments as a best institution which can find permanent solutions for parking needs of modern cities. We are glad to carry our sectoral abilities to Morocco."
