Turkey becomes champion in European men taekwondo

Turkey became the champion in general standing and men's standings in European Taekwondo Championship on Saturday.

However, Turkey was ranked the third in women's standings in the championship that took place in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.

Turkey won three gold, two silver and one bronze medals in the championship.

In general standings, France came the second and Spain the third. In men's standings, Turkey was followed by Russia and Germany.

France came the first in women's standings, Spain the second and Turkey the third.
