Turkey and Singapore have expanded their bilateral air services and flight agreement, according to a statement released by Turkey’s General Directorate of Civil Aviation Monday.
The statement said the new deal immediately raises the frequency of flights between the two countries from eight to fourteen weekly.
The agreement has been signed in Ankara by the director of the Turkish General Directorate of Civil Aviation, Bilal Eksi, and Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Yap Ong Heng.
Last month, Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines also agreed a major expansion of codeshare ties, covering destinations including both Istanbul and Singapore.
