Turkey to host Romania in a Group (D) match in Istanbul

Turkish national football team will play a home game against Romania in their third match in a group qualifier for the 2014 World Cup on Friday at the Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul.

Turkey-Romania game will kick off at 20.30 hours (Turkish local time).

England's Howard Webb will referee the game.

In their first game in Group (D), Turkey lost 2-0 out to the Netherlands in an away game. In their second game in Group (D), Turkey defeated Estonia 3-0 in a home game.

Turkey's coach Abdullah Avci, in a statement posted on the web site of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), said that Romania were the group leaders and a team to be taken very seriously.
