Turkey's Super Toto League team Sivasspor have signed Slovakian goalkeeper Lubos Kamenar, spokesperson for the team said on Monday.

Spokesperson Fikret Unsal said Slovakian national team's goalkeeper Lubos Kamenar joined Sivasspor as the team had frozen their contract with their goalkeeper Sead Ramovic, who was suffering from an injury, till the end of 2010-2011 soccer season.

24-year-old Kamenar has joined Sivasspor on loan from FC Nantes.

Kamenar made his first football steps in his hometown club FC Spartak Trnava. He went there through all youth squads until senior team, where he had got five appearances.

In February 2005, he signed to Artmedia Petrzalka and in his first season there, he won a league, although he was not first goalkeeper and he played only one match. He won domestic league twice and Slovak Cup in the 2007?2008 season.

On July2, 2009, the goalkeeper left Artmedia Petrzalka to sign a five-year contract for French FC Nantes.

Kamenar played his first international match for Slovakia in a 3-1 2010 World Cup qualifying win over San Marino on October 11, 2008.
