Turkish plane makes forced landing in Istanbul

 A Turkish Airlines plane flying Thursday from Oslo to Istanbul made an emergency landing in Istanbul's Ataturk Airport after a bomb threat, according to the Turkish airline company.

Turkish Airlines said that the flight departed from the Norwegian capital Oslo to Istanbul but it was forced to emergency land at Ataturk Airport at 5.20 p.m. (0220 GMT) after a call made by unidentified individuals claimed a bomb was on the plane.

Passengers were taken into Ataturk Airport’s terminal, while security measures were taken around the aircraft.
