A group which member of the East Turkistan culture and Solidarity foundation gathered in front of the Chinese company to protest the Urumci massacre which carried out by China in July, 2009.

The group gathered in the street where Chinese Embassy residence takes place in Gaziosmanpasa district in Ankara.

Around 100 protesters chanted anti-China slogans and laid black wreath in front of the embassy, Cihan News Agency said.

Carrying Turkish and Uighur Flags protesting group, later made a press speech.

Uighur demonstrators took the streets in Urumqi on July 5 to protest against Han Chineses’ attacks on Uighurs workers at a factory in south China in June which left two Uighurs dead. Hans in Urumqi sought bloody revenge two days later.

World Uighur Congress said that near 800 Uigurs were killed during a week-violence after Han Chineses attacks and following intervention of China forces. The China governmnet put the death toll 197.

Deputy Chairman of the East Turkistan Culture and Solidarity Foundation Seyit Tumturk said they were feeling greed apprehension of 30 Millions East Turkistan Muslim Turk who lives in Xinjiang in the name which China called in 1945.

Tumturk said that an innocent and democratic search of right in Urumchi was quelled in a bloody way on July 5, 2009, adding that thousands of people were killed during the incidents.

Tumturk said that they were protesting the extreme and unproportional use of force on Eastern Turkistan people.

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Istanbul Deputy Atila Kaya and several non-governmental organizations supported the protest, according to Anadolu Agency.
