Turkish Red Crescent has delivered 150 tents, 750 blankets, 750 mosquito nets and 150 kitchen appliances to flood-ravaged Sudan.
According to a statement, Turkish Red Crescent have sent a team of experts to the area in response to calls from Sudan.
Experts of Turkish Red Crescent examined the situation, met with Sudanese authorities, and detected the necessities of Sudanese in the disaster hit areas.
The humanitarian aid organization then delivered 150 tents, 750 blankets, 750 mosquito nets, and 150 kitchen appliances with a cargo plane of Turkish Airlines (THY).
Turkish Red Crescent reminded in its statement that agricultural areas and settlements have been covered by flood waters due to heavy rainfalls and River Nile also flooded the area with the heavy downpours.
