Turkish Red Crescent sends aid to Kyrgyzstan

 

The Turkish Red Crescent sent on Saturday humanitarian aid to turbulent Kyrgyzstan on Saturday. 

A cargo plane carrying 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan left for this Central Asian country. 

The Turkish aid organization also sent foodstuff, blankets, kitchen sets, and medical equipment to Kyrgyzstan on June 15. The aid was distributed in both Kyrgyz and Uzbek districts in the province of Osh. 

189 people were killed and 1,910 others were wounded in ethnical clashes between Uzbek and Kyrgyz people in Osh and Jalalabad provinces since June 11.
