Turkish soldier killed in Hakkari mine blast

A soldier was killed in a mine blast in the Cukurca town of Hakkari on Friday. 

As security forces were patrolling the mountainous area in the Kabusak region in pursuit of PKK militants, a soldier stepped on a mine and was killed instantly.

A wide scale operation was launched after the mine blast.
