Turkish team signs deal with Bosnian striker Zec

Turkish first division side Genclerbirligi signed Bosnian striker Ermin Zec from Croatia's Sibenik, Turkish club said on Monday.

Bosnian international Zec signed a four-year contract with Turkcell Super League team Genclerbirligi.

"Our coach Thomas Doll watched him and told us to sign," club's spokesman Enis Safi said.

Ankara side agreed with Sibenik to pay 2.2 million euro transfer fee, which made Zec to become the most expensive player in Genclerbirligi history, club officials said.

Zec will get 500,000 euro annually, they said.

Zec was voted the best young Bosnian player of the year in 2009 and best player of the Croatian league in the same year.

In May 2010, he scored his first goal for the national team of Bosnia in a 4-2 loss against Sweden.
