UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR) Antonio Guterres hailed Turkey for its efforts for Syrian children staying in refugee camps in country's south.
Guterres and UNICEF Vice President Yoka Brandt held a press conference in Geneva on Friday as number of Syrian children who have taken refuge in neighbouring countries exceeded over one million.
Regarding schooling Syrian children in the refugee camps, Guterres touted Turkey as a model and added: "Even though their languages are not the same, Turkey has made a great effort for that issue.
