Iraqi army forces have destroyed three camps belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) and Al-Qaeda in northern Iraq.
Five rebels were also killed in the operation, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said in a Monday statement.
According to the ministry, four gun-mounted vehicles were destroyed and a cache of weapons seized in northern Iraq's Al-Jazeera district.
Iraqi government troops have been pursuing ISIL rebels since last December, when the militant group seized control of parts of the western Anbar province.
