Deadly bomb attacks in Iraqi capital Baghdad on Thursday left 23 dead and 70 wounded.
Security sources said 23 people were killed and 70 others were wounded in the bomb attacks in 5 different regions of Baghdad.
4 cars packed with explosives blew up, one of which took place in front of a restaurant in Baghdad's al-Bunuk district leaving 10 dead and 20 injured.
Attacks across Iraq were mostly in the southeast and southernwest parts of Baghdad.
There has recently been an increase in the attacks related to the confrontation between Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the anti-government protesters.
