Iraq police station hit by three deadly blasts

Three Iraqi policemen were killed in three bombings in Abu Ghraib city, west of Baghdad, on Thursday, police said.

“Three bombs hit a police station in Abu Ghraib, killing three policemen and injuring 14 others,” police officer Mustafa al-Hajji said.

Iraqi authorities have cordoned off the area following the attacks.

On Wednesday, at least 78 people were killed and scores injured in a series of attacks claimed by the ISIL extremist group in Baghdad.
