The Kurdish regional government in Iraq's north formed a new cabinet on Wednesday after months of stalemate between political parties.
The list of ministers offered by Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani was approved by the regional parliament in a vote attended by all 111 MPs.
Barzani and the ministers were sworn in after the voting.
All parties represented in the parliament including the main opposition Goran Movement take part in the new government.
The previous government was a coalition of Barzani's Kurdistan Democratic Party and Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
Turkmens, who are represented with five seats in the parliament, were given the post of the justice minister.
Dispute among political parties following the general elections in September 2013 had delayed the formation of a new regional government.Last Mod: 19 Haziran 2014, 09:58
