Military factions and militias in Kobani said they killed 3,710 militants since clashes began more than four months ago, Syria Mubashir News Network said Friday. They also lost 102 military vehicles and 16 tanks.
Meanwhile, 425 opposition fighters were killed in the fighting, said YPG spokesman Shorsh Hassan.
U.S. Central Command said approximately 90 percent of Kobani has been freed from ISIL fighters.
Iraq’s Kurdish Regional Government President Massoud Barzani also thanked Turkey for its role in "freeing" Kobani from ISIL.
