The leader of the regional administration in northern Iraq, Masoud Barzani said the efforts on resolving the issues among Irbil and Baghdad was affected due to the health problem of Iraqi president Jalal Talabani who is currently in Germany for treatment.

 Talking to press after visiting the HQ of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in Suleymaniye, Barzani said all the talks stopped due to Talabani's health problem, and he was not hopeful on resolving the issues.

He said Talabani was getting better and expected to return the country as soon as possible but added that they should get ready for every possibility.

Barzani said the Peshmerga forces would only withdraw from Kirkuk under the condition of withdrawing of the Tigris Operations forces.
