Two earthquakes struck central Chile early on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, two days after a larger quake was recorded.
Sunday's tremors were magnitude 6 and magnitude 5.8 and were centered 16 miles (25 km) northeast of Concepcion, Chile. The larger one was 8.3 (13 km) miles deep, the USGS said. There were no reports of damage.
On Friday, a 6.8 magnitude quake struck the area but no damages were reported. Last February, a 8.8-magnitude earthquake devastated the earthquake-prone region.
