TERRORIST ORGANIZATION WILL BE ERADICATED, ERDOGAN
The Turkish prime minister said on Saturday that heinous attacks would never affect Turkey's determination to fight terrorism. "We will reach a result together without losing our calmness and without harming our brotherhood," said Erdogan.
"The hitman terrorist organization proved that it is a pawn. We shall overcome this separatist menace. We have the necessary will and power to overcome this menace," said Erdogan.
BAHCELI CALLS FOR EARLY ELECTIONS
After the attack on the military outpost, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahceli said, "National Security Council should convene. The government should take a decision for early elections. State of emergency should be declared," said Bahceli.
HEINOUS ATTACK TO MOBILE MILITARY UNIT IN SEMDINLI: 11 SOLDIERS DEAD
Turkey was shaken by a sorrowful news coming from Hakkari on Saturday. Nine soldiers died and 16 others were injured in a terrorist attack on a mobile unit in Gediktepe region in Semdinli town.
In the afternoon, a land mine exploded in the same region. Two soldiers died as the patrolling team stepped on the land mine.
Number of soldiers died in the past two months has risen to 40.
It was striking that PKK terrorists that came to the region in groups could not be determined by the thermal cameras.
12 terrorists killed in clashes and Cobra helicopters and F-16 planes shelled terrorists who fled to Iraq and Iran.
SAHIN: PUBLIC WAITS FOR A SATISFACTORY STATEMENT FROM GENERAL STAFF
Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin, while commenting on the attack which killed 11 soldiers, said he waited for a satisfactory statement from General Staff.

MAROON BERETS IN THE BORDER
In the aftermath of the crisis there is an increased military traffic in the border. The Maroon Berrets, the most elite unit of the Turkish Armed Forces were deployed in the border. The helicopters taking off from the 3rd Mountain Commando Brigade dropped off Special Commandos to the rural parts of Semdinli.
LEAVE QUARREL ASIDE, STOP BLOODSHED
Turkey has entered an era where PKK terrorism escalated again. We are bored of listening to the same statements for 30 years after every terrorist attack. Number of Turkish soldiers killed only in the past 4 months has risen to 54.
The government accuses the opposition by exploiting the bloodshed, and opposition says terrorism would have ended if there was not the democratic move.
Turn of terrorism can not come because of quarrel for jurisdiction and axis shift.
The sorrows start to turn into anger as bodies of soldiers are sent to their homes wrapped in Turkish flags.
We are now at a point where there is nothing more to say. Everybody should shoulder the responsibility. Leave aside quarrels aside and stop this bloodshed.
250 PKK terrorists, infiltrating from north of Iraq, attacked the military unit at 02.00 a.m. with heavy machine guns. The clash lasted for five hours. 9 soldiers died and 14 others were injured in the clash.
At least 19 terrorists killed. Commandos passed the border, clashes continue at several points.
In the afternoon, two soldiers died after stepping on land mine.
Cobra helicopters shelled PKK terrorist and warplanes attacked camps of terrorists from the air.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Terrorists staged an attack on the military outpost in the Gediktepe region of Semdinli. The number of terrorists who concealed in the foggy and rainy night sneaked to the vicinity of the outpost was claimed to be 250.
9 soldiers were killed and 13 others were wounded in the skirmish that lasted for hours. During operations in pursuit of terrorists a mine planted by the terrorists exploded killing two soldiers and injuring two others. Turkish jets bombed targets in the north of Iraq.
Here are the questions waiting for answers:
How come the PKK terrorist organization, despite Turkey and Iran's cross border operations and thousand of soldiers on alarm, can so easily direct 250 terrorists on a military outpost? .Where is the intelligence coming from the U.S.?
CAN'T BE SOLVED WITH COMPROMISES
Turkey's Former Envoy for Counterterrorism Ret Gen. Edip Baser said, "the root of terror is the command centers in the North of Iraq, and the fiancial funds that is mainly concentrated in Europe. We have to find the means for eradicating these." Ret. Gen. Ali Er said the terrorist organization must have scouted the area for days, and asked "What kind of an intelligence sharing is this?"
Ret. Gen Nejat Eslen said, "Turkish Armed Forces should fight PKK not in the region of PKK's choice, but it should carry the fighting to the North of Iraq and target the high ranking terrorist chiefs.
Ret. Gen. Necati Ozgen said the recent tension with Israel and the U.S. could have played a part in the attacks. Gen. Ozgen said, "the U.S. did not provide intelligence."
BLOOD IN SEMDINLI, QUARREL IN ANKARA
11 soldiers died and 19 PKK terrorists were killed in terrorist attacks in Semdinli. Politicians accused each other very severely.
14 hours after the statement of General Staff that "terrorist acts of the PKK terrorist organization" could step up, terrorists attacked military unit in Semdinli.
Terrorists launched simultaneous attacks to different points.
Nine soldiers died and 14 others were injured in clashes which continued with the PKK terrorists till the morning. 12 PKK terrorists killed in clashes.
OMER CELIK OF AK PARTY: ISRAEL MAKES COUP PROVOCATION
Omer Celik, the head of the Justice & Development (AK) Party delegation holding talks in the United States relayed tough messages.
Celik said the crisis would deepen if Israel does not apologize and that the two countries would face with each other in every platform.
Celik said, "there is a problem in legality of that country which does not recognize world order."
11 SOLDIERS KILLED
A group of 250 terrorists sneaked at night through the Iraqi border into the Tanyolu region of the Gunyazı village in the Semdinli town of Hakkari and attacked the border squad with heavy machine guns.
The terrorists attacked from three different directions. Nine soldiers were killed, 14 others were wounded in the skirmish that lasted five hours. 12 terrorists were also killed during the skirmish. During operations in pursuit of terrorists a mine planted by the terrorists exploded killing two soldiers and injuring two others.
The soldiers who were ambushed, fought heroically and did not allow terrorists to approach the barracks of the squad. Terrorists scattered in to the area.
Reinforcements were dispatched to the area. Turkish artillery shelled the possible escape routs while helicopters provided air support. Meanwhile, Turkish Jets bombed targets in the north of Iraq.
FOUR HOURS OF INTORREGATION TO POLICE CHIEF
Ankara Police Chief Orhan Ozdemir, who is charged with assisting and harbouring under the investigation into the corruption in the cleaning tender in Kayseri, carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was intorrogated for four hours. Ozdemir who was later brought before the court was relased pending trial.
THEY HAD CLOSE COMBAT
Eight soldiers died in the first shots of the PKK terrorists who attached two squadrons at the border of southeastern province of Hakkari. Soldiers draw back terrorists in close combat but the result was grave: 11 soldiers died, 16 others wounded.
PLANES SHELLED AND ARTILLERY BOMBED
Warplanes which took off after the the villainous attack shelled PKK camps close to border of north of Iraq and terrorists trying to infiltrate from Iraq were bombed by the Turkish artillery.
Separately, 15 tanks and a large quantity of ammunition were transported from Batman to Van and Hakkari with trucks.
HEINOUS ATTACK TO BORDER UNIT IN SEMDINLI
Around 100 PKK terrorists opened fire on border unit in Gediktepe region in Semdinli town of Southeastern province of Hakkari with mortars, long-range weapons and rocket launchers. Nine soldiers died and 14 others were wounded in the ensuing clash.
12 terrorists who fled to north of Iraq after attacking the unit in fog and heavy rain were killed. F-16 planes hit the targets which were earlier determined.
Two soldiers died and two others were injured after stepping on the landmine in hot pursuit.
THREE MESSAGES FROM ERDOGAN..
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan relayed three messages after the villainous attack in Hakkari.
Erdogan said, "our nation knows for which forces PKK works for". He said Turkey would not give in the violence vicious circle and democratic move would continue.
Erdogan said it would be a very big irresponsibility to make this incident a tool of political polemics.
