On Monday, Turkish dailies covered the ISIL threat in Syria and the 7th anniversary of the murder of the Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink.
Regarding ISIL threat, Daily TURKIYE publishes "It's selling the opposition because ISIL belongs to Assad and Maliki," saying that the "bloody organization" Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) - considered an opposition faction - has not yet fired bullets towards the Assad regime soldiers.
Murder of Hrant Dink
Seven years have passed since the murder against Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, as a new commemoration looms.
"Justice for Hrant" writes Daily STAR.
Thousands marched in Taksim to the premises of daily Agos – Dink was its editor-in-chief – chanting "For Hrant, for justice," the Daily said.
Daily ZAMAN quoted Dink's widow. "We can see both the queen and the pawn in this politically charged murder."
Dink was killed by Ogun Samast - then under-age - with alleged ultra-nationalist motives.Güncelleme Tarihi: 20 Ocak 2014, 12:15
