Turkish dailies covered the details of Saturday's suicide attack on a Turkish Embassy annex in the Somali capital of Mogadishu that killed one Turkish guard and wounded four others.

Daily BUGUN published "The Wounded Brought From Somalia" saying the heads of the security office, welcomed the wounded security guards, Murat Bozkurt, Nurullah Calisici, Hakan Beyrek and Orhan Ergun. The paper also stated that Turkish President Abdullah Gul condemned the malicious attack and added Turkey will continue to send aid to Somalia.  

Daily YENI SAFAK headlined "Turkish Airplane Not Permitted", claiming that army chief and Defense Minister of Egypt, Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's junta did not permit Turkish ambulance airplane to use Egypt's airspace to bring wounded Turkish security forces from Somalia to Turkey. The paper indicated that the wounded Turkish security guards waited for 4 hours in Djibouti. Turkish Foreign Ministry insisted and the junta permitted the airplane to pass at 4.30 a.m. and the ambulance plane carrying the slain officer and the wounded ones landed at the Esenboga International Airport in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

Daily VATAN headlined "Dreadful Plan", claiming that Al Qaeda militants wanted to kill all Turkish citizens in the building. 

Daily SABAH titled "Embassy's Four Steps to Stop Tragedy" saying the building which was protected like a stronghold, kept down the number of casualties, and published that the Turkey's four preventive measures which were taken before the Saturday's suicide attack on a Turkish Embassy annex in the Somali capital of Mogadishu that killed one Turkish guard and wounded four others.

Turkey wins the title at the FIBA Under-18 European Basketball Championship

Daily YENI SAFAK published that Turkish Under-18 basketball team have become champions at a tournament organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in Riga, Latvia. Turkey beat Croatia 81-74 to take their first gold medal at the tournament. Daily HABERTURK titled "12 Young Men" wins title at the FIBA U18 European Championship in Latvia on Sunday with a 81-74 win over Croatia. 

Gezi Park: A public opinion poll 

Daily SABAH headlined "The Goal of Gezi Was to Create an Uproar" saying according to public opinion poll about how people evaluate the incidents of Gezi Park, 51.5 percent of people who participated in the survey, said the goal was to create an uproar and added, the police did their duties and 33.3 percent of them said, the Gezi Park protests were a democratic right.

Saudi prince's defection from royal

Daily HABERTURK headlined "Saudi prince rises against Royal Family", saying Saudi Prince Khalid Bin Farhan Al-Saud announced his defection from Al Saud royal family and joined the Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia (MIRA) on Saturday and he called on other princes to break their silence and reveal the truth for sake of God.

Gezi Park versus Rab'a al-Adaweya Square

Daily AKSAM headlined "Masquerade" saying the Western countries did not respond the massacre in Egypt comparing with their reactions for Gezi Park and gave examples from the United Nations, European Union, the United States and the Amnesty International to show the differences between two cases.

The obedience of PYD leader to lower the flag at the border

Daily STAR headlined "Ankara Said 'Lower The Flag" and We Lowered It", an exclusive news with the Salih Muslim, the leader of Democratic Union Party (PYD), a Syrian offshoot of terrorist organization PKK and quoted Muslim as saying, "I did not know PYD flag was waving at the Turkey- Syria border. The senior officials from foreign ministry gave me that information and said 'Lower it' and we lowered it" and quoted Muslim regarding if there is any intention to found a Kurdish administration in Syria, as saying "We will found a temporary civil administration with 11 parties not an autonomous government in northern Syria".
