At least 115 people were killed in several cities of Syria in operations staged by forces loyal to the Syrian regime, activists said.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, said that Assad forces killed 45 people in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 27 in Aleppo, 4 in Dera'a, 3 each in Hama and Homs, 17 in Deir al-Zor and 8 each in Idlib and Homs in air and land offensives.

Meanwhile, the Syria Local Coordination Committee (LCC) said Assad forces staged attacks in the neighborhoods of Latakiyah and that the Free Syrian Army controlled 11 villages there.

Furthermore, SANA, the Syrian national news agency, announced that regime forces made major gains against opposition fighters in operations across the country.
