At least 120 people were killed on Friday in two bombings targeting Houthi mosques in Yemeni capital Sanaa, a medical source has said.
The two blasts struck the Badr and Al-Hashoush mosques frequented by supporters of the Shiite Houthi militants, according to Anadolu Agency reporter.
A Yemeni security official, speaking to AA on condition of anonymity, suggested that the twin blasts might have been carried out by suicide bombers.
This is the first time for political violence to reach mosques in Sanaa since it was seized by the Houthis last September.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts thus far.Last Mod: 20 Mart 2015, 16:23
