Two Yemenis were killed and five others injured in renewed clashes on Saturday between Shiite Houthi militants and tribesmen in the central province of Ibb, a security source said.
The violence broke out when Houthi militants bombed houses of loyalists of Yemeni tribal leader Abdel Wahid al-Dam in the province's Ar Radmah district, the source told Anadolu Agency.
Houthis could not be reached for comment.
Three people had been injured in clashes between the two sides three days ago.
The violence erupts occasionally on the background of fears of Ar Radmah tribes that the Houthis were planning to control some areas in the district.
Yemen has been dogged by turmoil since pro-democracy protests in 2011 forced autocratic president Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down after 33 years in power.Güncelleme Tarihi: 17 Mayıs 2014, 12:16
