At least 24 people were killed on Tuesday in a road accident in the northeastern Egyptian province of Suez, security and medical sources said.
A passenger bus en route to South Sinai rammed into a truck parked on the side of the road. The collision killed 24 people and injured 21, including 10 in a serious condition, the source said.
Deadly car accidents are common in Egypt due to poor road conditions and lax traffic law enforcement.
