Thirty one Abul-Fadl al-Abbas Brigade and Hezbollah fighers were killed in clashes around the holy shrine of Sayyidah Zainab near Damascus over the last two days, said a statement released by the Free Syrian Army's Military Council.
The Council revealed the names and nationalities of the deceased, many of whome were Iraqi and Lebanese.
The Abul-Fadl al-Abbas Brigade was established in 2012 to protect the holy shrine of Sayyidah Zaynab and has been deployed around the shrine for the last month.
