Four Yemenis have been killed in armed clashes between the Houthi rebels and tribesmen in the northern province of al-Jawaf.
Two member of the Dahm tribe were killed early Sunday in clashes with Houthis in Afi district, a tribal source told Anadolu Agency.
A third tribal member was injured in the violence.
Two Houthi rebels were also killed in a rebel attack on a tribal checkpoint in al-Jawf late Saturday, the source said.
Meanwhile, border guards commander in al-Jawf Mansour Thawabah said Houthi militants have slapped a siege around a government compound in the area since Saturday.
"All roads are sealed off and no one is allowed in or out of the area," he said.
