Seven Palestinians were injured, including one seriously, in clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces soldiers early Al-Quds (occupied East Jerusalem).
The clashes first erupted late Friday in the Abu Dis and al-Eizariya villages in al-Quds following the killing of a Palestinian man near to Abu Dis on Thursday, eyewitnesses said.
"The clashes renewed on Saturday, leaving more than seven people injured by gunfire and teargas," Anwar Badr, a leader from Palestinian group Fatah, told Anadolu Agency.
According to Badr, three Palestinians were arrested and taken to "undisclosed location".
Hozaifa Afana, an engineer from Abu Dis, said one of his relatives was seriously injured during the clashes after an Israeli stun bomb exploded at his face, causing internal bleeding.
There was no comment from Israeli authorities.
Meanwhile, sources close to the Islamic Movement in Jerusalem accused Israeli authorities of launching a massive crackdown campaign against its members.
The movement, which is considered the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood and is banned by Israel, said several members were arrested and their laptops confiscated by Israeli forces.Güncelleme Tarihi: 09 Kasım 2013, 15:30
