Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi arrived in Kuwait City late Saturday on a two-day visit for talks with Kuwaiti officials on preparations for the upcoming Arab summit, to kick off on March 25.
Al-Arabi was welcomed at the airport by Egyptian Ambassador Abdel-Karim Soliman.
Soliman said Kuwait Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Jaber al-Sabah will meet al-Arabi on Sunday to discuss the summit preparations.
He added that the Arab League chief will also hold talks with senior Kuwaiti officials.
