Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi will meet his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan on Saturday.
The top UAE diplomat is expected to arrive in Cairo today for talks with Egyptian officials on the situation in the country and ways of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields.
Saturday's visit is the second by the UAE foreign minister since last month's ouster of elected President Mohamed Morsi by the army after mass demonstrations against his regime.
The UAE was among the first Arab countries to welcome Morsi's removal from power and has pledged $3 billion in aid to support Egypt's economy during the transition period.
The Gulf Arab country has said it would provide a $1 billion grant to Egypt and a $2 billion interest-free loan.Güncelleme Tarihi: 03 Ağustos 2013, 11:02
