An Egyptian doctor was gunned down Tuesday in Yemen's southern Aden province, eyewitnesses have said.
The body of the doctor, who was in his 40s, was taken to a hospital in central Aden, witnesses said.
The attackers, according to witnesses, fled the scene unscathed.
Yemen has remained in the throes of political turmoil since pro-democracy protests in 2011 forced autocratic President Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down one year later.
