Christian Majdi Lami Sami, who was kidnapped on July 6 by unidentified people, was found dead on Thursday in Sinai peninsula, Egypt.
Sami, aged 60, was kidnapped on the way to his home in Sheikh Zuwaid town in Sinai last Saturday, was found decapitated in north of the town, sources said.
Sources added, security officials launched investigation, while the body was transferred to Aresh Hospital.
In an armed attack on July 6 in Sinai, a Christian religious leader, Mina Abbud Sarubin, 39, was killed.
