According to local sources on Monday, after the attack by armed assailants in Rafah city of Palestine, two Egyptian military choppers flew for 12 minutes in Gaza airspace.
On the other hand, Palestinian government reacted to the violation of airspace. Government spokesperson Ihab Gusayn stated, "Egyptian aircrafts' violation in Gaza airspace cannot be tolerated. We expect an official statement for the reason of aircrafts' violation."
Gusayn also said they had talks with Egyptian party during the first violation, but they did not want to release the details of the conversations to the press.
Egyptian military choppers had flown at low-altitude over Khan Younis and Rafah on July 12.
