French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius denied on Monday that Western powers were planning to intervene in the south of Libya.
Speaking to Radio Télévision Luxembourg, Fabius said no such intervention was being planned despite the pleas of Libya's southern neighbor Niger.
However, he did say that there was going to be an international meeting in Rome at the beginning of March to give Libya more help.
