Badr Wahb al-Ghazal, the mentor of Mihraj Ural, the leader of a pro-regime armed group in Syria, has been killed by the Nusra Front.
According to photos which were published on Twitter, Vehb al-Ghazal was killed by Nusra fighters. Recently, Ghazal was detained by the Free Syrian Army near Latakia on 6th August.
Ghazal was known for giving a fatwa in support of the Baniyas massacre, which left at least 62 people dead, including 14 children, in the Ras al-Nabeh neighborhood of Baniyas in May 2013.
Mihraj Ural is believed to have orchestrated the Reyhanlı twin car bombs that killed at least 50 people in Turkey's Hatay.
Ural dismissed claims that he was behind the Reyhanlı bombings. He said that the Reyhanlı bombings were organized to pull Turkey into the Middle East dilemma.
