Hama governor in Syria, Anas Abdul-Razzaq Anas Na'em was killed on Sunday in a car bomb incident.

Na'em was killed in the explosion on Sunday, according to the Syrian state news agency Sana.

No one has claimed the responsibility of the assassination yet.

Na'em was appointed as Hama governor in 2011 replacing Khalil Abdulazeez, following the start of anti-regime protests in the city.
