Syria's Homs city has come under heavy fire by the Syrian regime forces on Wednesday.
Syrian Local Coordination Committee (LCC) stated that Syrian regime forces attacked Homs' Khalidiya, Ard al Qasr and Bab al Siba' regions by missiles and mortars.
LCC said the Tomb of Khalid Bin Walid and the Khalid Bin Walid Mosque in the Khalidiya suburb were hard-hit with several houses demolished and damaged, some of which were burned.
"Under siege by the security forces, Khalidiya and Ard al-Qasr regions suffer from the heavy street clashes between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Hezbollah militia. Warplanes of the Syrian army bombed Telbise and Al Rasten districts of Homs," noted LCC.
LCC also reported that FSA took control of the gas compay in Homs's Zara village, while the armed opposition destroyed four armored vehicles in the village amid intense and violent clashes between the armies of the opposition and regime forces.Güncelleme Tarihi: 10 Temmuz 2013, 16:39
