Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akber Salehi said on Sunday that International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts will inspect the Gechin uranium mine in January.
“The inspection date is not certain yet. We expect them to do so in three weeks” Salehi said, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported.
“We are determined to enforce the six paragraphs agreement that we signed with Head of IAEA Yukio Amano. IAEA experts are allowed to monitor the Arak heavy-water reactor and Gechin uranium mine, this is one step of the agreement” he stated.
Reminding that IAEA experts inspected the Arak facility, Salehi said that the cooperation with IAEA is going forward without problem.
Salehi noted that the negotiations between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) are going well and even if in case of a problem it will be solved with tolerance.Güncelleme Tarihi: 05 Ocak 2014, 17:59
