The inauguration of newly elected President Hassan Rouhani will be held in the Iranian parliament on August 4, the second vice-speaker of the Iranian parliament Mohammad-Reza Bahonar said, the Iranian TV website iribnews reported.
He stressed that the president, chairman of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the Parliament will deliver a speech at the inauguration.
Bahonar said that parliamentary representatives are ready to cooperate with the new president for the sake of the country's development.
He advised the president to use the potential of hard working individuals in the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Iranian presidential elections were held on June 14.
Bahonar said that after August 4, President Rouhani must introduce the staff of the new cabinet of ministers to the parliament within two weeks in order to confirm their authority.
