Int'l community broke promises, Syrian opposition says

World Bulletin/News Desk

The Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces accused the international community of lacking "genuine will" to the end violence in Syria and of failing to live up to its promises.

The Syrian National Coalition said in a written statement reiterating claims against the international community that Russia, Iran and Hezbollah backed the Syrian regime by supplying arms to the Assad forces.

"UN officials said Syria's refugee crisis was the worst since Rwanda Genocide in 1994 and 5,000 people were being killed in the country every month. After this statement Friends of Syria group has to take action to keep its promises. Waiting for so long encourages the Assad regime which does not hesitate to use chemical weapons, kill more people."
